Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Dolapo Opebiyi, PMHNP-BC

Joy is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Babcock University, she holds a master's degree in public health education from Western Kentucky University and obtained a Master of Science in Nursing/Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Joy has worked as psychiatric Nurse with all ages and in different settings. These includes inpatient, community, nursing home and group home settings. Joy also worked outpatient providing psychotherapy for patients with drug use and addiction. Joy is a culturally sensitive provider, a good listener, an advocate, empathetic, loves children and always ready to help. Joy speaks Yoruba, pidgin English and English fluently.

Specializes in Mental Health Assessments to provide appropriate psychiatric diagnoses.

Specializes in Behavioral Health medication management.

Specializes in developing treatment plans with a multidisciplinary team, and utilizing evidence-based approach.

Registered Dietitian

Devan Herring, RD

Devan has been a Registered Dietitian in Charlotte for the past four years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Lebanon Valley College, a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of North Florida, and has a Masters of Science in Nutrition & Integrative Health through Maryland University of Integrative Health.

Devan has worked with a variety of age groups and has experience with weight loss and weight management, dysautonomia, fatty liver disease, cardiovascular disease prevention and lipid disorders.

Certificate of Training in Adult and Pediatric Weight Management and is passionate about wellness and chronic disease prevention.

Devan loves to do yoga, travel, spend time with family.

In addition, she loves to hike with her fluffy pup Disco.

Monica received a Bachelor of Sociology degree and a Master of Social Work from Fayetteville State University. Monica has worked as a Youth Case Manager and also Intensive In-home. Monica specializes in providing Behavioral Health counseling for Alcohol/Drug Addiction, Depression/ Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD and Trauma.

Monica's passion is working with youth populations in group or individual sessions.

Monica is a loving wife and mother but continues to give back to her community through Outreach programs.

Monica enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
